Mark-sheets of Part-I (Hons + General) shall be distributed to affiliated Colleges on Dec 22, 2011 from 2.00 pm. Candidates undergoing re-assessment shall receive their mark-sheets in the first week of Jan, 2012.
Final Regulations (CSR) for Part-I, 2011
To complete the printing and distribution of Part-I mark-sheets to colleges before the Christmas recess, the University shall not receive any further applications from Principals/H.O.Ds/students after 17th Dec regarding re-assessment of answer scripts. All candidates of Part-I are advised to receive their mark-sheet and then apply for review and/or inspection of the answer scripts- otherwise, the issue of mark-sheets shall be delayed.

Candidates who have already applied for re-assessment shall not be eligible for review. However, they can apply for inspection of answer scripts under the RTI Act. after the re-assessment.

B.A. (Hons & General) Part-I 2011 results have been published . Gazettes are being distributed to affiliated colleges from the Controller's office from 5th Dec. All concerned may please note that B.Sc results shall be published on 8th Dec, 2011 except PHYG (Physics General) for which marks are yet to be submitted by the Examiners despite many reminders. These results shall be shown as R/W (withheld) in the Gazette till the examiners/ HE submit the marks.

B.Com (Hons & General) Part-I 2011 results are published by approval of the Vice Chancellor. Gazettes are being distributed to affiliated colleges (Pl contact Mr. Gautam Kundu)

Urgent Communication Regarding UG Exams 2012
Notice
In response to a few applications received by the University for granting permission for Registration to UG courses at affiliated colleges under extraordinary circumstances, the Council at its meeting on 23rd Nov has decided to extend the date of Registration for these few cases till 30th Nov, 2011. No registration shall be permitted after this date under any circumstances whatsoever.
Affiliated colleges are also requested to send to the University by 1st December a list of such candidates along with their Part-II/III mark-sheets who have not secured 35% / 30% in the aggregate but are willing to apply for review of upto two (2) of their answer scripts. The University may consider granting of review for such candidates and ask for the requisite fees to be deposited by 8th Dec, 2011.

NEW SYLLABUS

In Hons subjects like Zoology, Botany etc. where new syllabus is introduced from the Academic Session 2011-12, all students appearing in Part-I Exam in 2012 either as Regular or as Casual shall have to attempt only New syllabus questions. Part-II/III candidates however shall continue in the Old syllabus.
